Submit 3-year CLSS-HC recertification

  1. Log 30 CEUs via the NFPA recertification portal as you complete activities
  2. At least 6 of those must be NFPA-direct activities (live, webinar, or self-study from NFPA)
  3. 60 days before expiration: sign in to your NFPA account and open the certification management system
  4. Click the certification name under "recertification" on the dashboard
  5. Upload activity documentation (certificates, transcripts)
  6. Pay the recertification fee ($225 as of 2026-05)
