What it costs

How to renew
Submit 3-year CLSS-HC recertification
- Log 30 CEUs via the NFPA recertification portal as you complete activities
- At least 6 of those must be NFPA-direct activities (live, webinar, or self-study from NFPA)
- 60 days before expiration: sign in to your NFPA account and open the certification management system
- Click the certification name under "recertification" on the dashboard
- Upload activity documentation (certificates, transcripts)
- Pay the recertification fee ($225 as of 2026-05)
