The SMP — formerly the SMS (Safety Management Specialist), renamed March 2025 — is BCSP's experience-based management credential: 10 years of safety experience, no degree required. This prep covers management systems, risk management and insurance, SH&E hazard concepts, incident investigation and emergency preparedness, and the business case of safety.
The real BCSP exam is 200 questions in 4.5 hours at Pearson VUE and reports a scaled score — 70% here is a study benchmark, not BCSP's official pass mark. Our full sim runs 150 questions at the same per-question pace.

Eligibility
10 years of professional safety experience with at least 35% of job duties involving management of safety-related programs, processes, procedures, and/or personnel. NO degree requirement — this is BCSP's experience-based path.
