ABOUT THIS EXAM · ICC
NFPA 10 / ICC-NAFED FE — Certified Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician
NFPA 10 is a STANDARD, not a certification. The actual credential is the ICC/NAFED FE — Certified Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician exam (100 Qs, 2 hrs, open-book on NFPA 10). In Georgia, FE certification is what qualifies you for an individual technician permit under Rule 120-3-23; the NAFED prep course is preparation, not the credential.
