When you finish, you'll be able to
- Work CSP math without a formula sheet — incident rates, statistics, probability, engineering economics and unit conversions
- Apply prevention through design, the hierarchy of controls and process safety (MOC, pressure relief, compatibility)
- Recognize and control the common workplace hazards: electrical, falls, confined spaces, lockout, excavation, fleet, materials handling and machines
- Build and audit a safety management system against ISO 45001 and ANSI/ASSP Z10, with leading and lagging indicators
- Investigate incidents to root cause and use FTA, FMEA and management of change
- Assess risk, choose controls and pick a financial strategy — avoid, retain, transfer, reduce
- Plan for emergencies, fire and environmental compliance
- Anticipate, evaluate and control health exposures — noise, chemicals, radiation, heat, ergonomics
- Design, deliver and evaluate training for adult learners
How this course works · 1-minute read
Lessons are slides
Use Back / Next or the ← → arrow keys. The gold bar above each slide jumps to any slide, and marks the Quick Checks before you reach them.
Listen instead of read
Press play on a lesson’s narration and the slides turn with it. Switch between the two narrators at any time — playback carries on from the same spot. The tick marks on the timeline rewind to the start of a slide.
Quick Checks
260 short questions sit inside the lessons. Pick an answer and the right one and the explanation appear straight away. They are practice — nothing is recorded.
Every answer has a source
Citation cards name the regulation or standard behind a slide; OSHA and EPA citations open the official text. Nothing comes into this exam room, so the course flags what to memorize.
Your place is saved
Sign in and the course remembers the slide you stopped on. A lesson is marked done when you press Mark lesson complete on its last slide, or when its narration plays to the end — you can unmark it to study it again.
Then the real thing
The last module hands you to the full timed practice exam, scored by domain so you can see where to study next.
Continuing education
Finish every lesson and you can print a completion certificate with the date and an estimated course length. BCSP decides which activities earn recertification points. This course is not BCSP-approved, and LifeSafetyWiki is not an accredited provider. Keep the certificate with your records in case BCSP accepts it for your cycle.
